Flowers

I love my flowers. 

They shine in so many colours. 

They never fade. 

I can take them with me to wherever I want.

They apologize if I forget to water them.

They make me smile.

There can't be enough of them.

Weekend

We three had a nice and calm weekend.
This is how it started...get up late and slowly:


... have a delicious and big breakfast. We tried a new little cafè around the corner (saving the dish washing) -- good and comfy. Then a little stroll and on the way back home we made a stop at our weekend bakery. We were so relaxed we just forgot to take the cake we chose with us.

Back home it was already time to take a little nap.

Her best friend urgently needed a shower and then wanted to dry on the fresh air. Yes, Isbjörn, we will comb your hair then.

Giraffe

I made this bag for a giraffe lover. The outer front and back side are made of grey fabric with cream flowers, the side part has the same pattern but the flowers are now grey on creme ground.

      

For the lining I chose a cream fabric with a bright red pattern. The red colour matches perfectly the grey from the outside.

The giraffe has a shiny black eye so it can see the world. Keep your eyes open, perhaps you can see this lovely giraffe on your way.

Red

Another dress make over... I bought this dress a good 5 or even more years ago. I immediately fell in love with this cute millefleur pattern. 

But somehow I always thought the dress needs some more length. So I took an old cardigan of really fleecy fabric and made not only the dress longer but also new straps and some ruffles.

Now the question is: which dress do you like more? The turquoise or the red one? For me it's the red one.
